Sure, it's a scary word. Derivative. Why did Newton create such a stupid word for slope? Don't ask me. But that's really all it means! Derivative simply means slope. Now the definition of the derivative is a different matter. This definition is used to find an equation for any particular function that allows one to find the slope at any point in the graph. That sounds like math theory throw up. I provide a much clearer explanation in my video and will review the definition with you! If you have any questions you can always refer to the internet!
